Land Acknowledgement
This event will take place on the unceded territory of the Kanien’kehá:ka people. The Kanien’kehá:ka are the keepers of the Eastern Door of the Haudenosaunee Confederacy. In addition to acknowledging the keepers of this land, we encourage everyone to get informed about how Indigenous women and Two-Spirited people have actively contributed to what is currently known as modern-day science and to actively resist colonialism in the many forms it takes.
